About Dr. Mallen and His Practice
John K. Mallen,
M.D. is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in cosmetic
surgery. He has had extensive training in surgery of the face, breast and
abdomen as well as body contouring. Dr. Mallen is highly skilled in
performing face, eyelid and neck lifts as well as breast augmentation, tummy
tuck and liposuction/body contouring procedures. He has a particular
interest in the treatment of spider veins through the use of sclerotherapy.

Dr. Mallen is a
graduate of Tufts Medical School in Boston. Following residencies in
plastic and reconstructive surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo and
general surgery at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, he completed a
fellowship devoted to cosmetic surgery. He is a member of the faculty
at Tufts Medical School, and is a medical staff member at several hospitals and outpatient
surgical day care centers in both the Merrimack Valley and Boston. |

Dr. Mallen and his
staff also specialize in non-surgical skin rejuvenation offering Micropeels,
the Micropeel Plus and Vitamin C Enhanced Microdermabrasion. These lunch
hour treatments are performed by a registered nurse on Dr. Mallen's staff.
Dr. Mallen uses BOTOX and/or Restylane treatments as an
adjunct to improve facial wrinkles and lines in both surgical and non-surgical
procedures.
