"Dr. Mallen met with me several times prior to surgery to ensure I was
comfortable with the size and proportionality of the breast implants."

Breast Augmentation Patient Letter 1:
I have never been able to wear clothing without a padded, water, or air bra.
Even my bathing suits are padded. I remember being pregnant and loving my
breast size, however after my children were born, my bust size returned to
an A cup again. I spent several hours researching and trying breast
enhancement pills, herbs, teas, and creams (to which I had an allergic
reaction).
Realizing how many expensive months had past without results, I decided to
have an augmentation consultation however the plastic surgeon did not answer
my questions. I left feeling uneasy and promptly went back to my research
and padded bras. Several years later, I made an appointment with John K.
Mallen, M.D. My husband and I arrived and sat next to a woman who asked why
I was there. I hesitated but answered, "A consultation for breast
augmentation." The woman stated, "He is a great surgeon. I had a breast
augmentation 10 years ago and love it." A few minutes later, I entered the
exam room with three pages of questions that I had jotted down and research
papers. Dr. Mallen's main question to me was "Why do you want breast
implants?" "For myself," I replied. This was the correct answer. Dr. Mallen
is not a plastic surgeon out to make money; he wants to make people feel
better about themselves. He eased all my concerns during that initial
consultation, including my biggest fear, anesthesia. He had the head of
anesthesia contact me and put my fears to rest. However, my husband was
still very concerned about the surgery and its safety. Over the next three
months, we visited and called Dr. Mallen asking questions after questions.
We decided together that the surgery was something that I wanted for myself
and when my husband also felt comfortable, we would proceed with a surgery
date. All risks were discussed, bleeding, infection, healing and rippling,
so I felt that we were very informed. My surgery date was set.
Surgery came and Dr. Mallen reminded me of all the pros and cons (a con
being no working out at the gym for 6 weeks). "No pressure, do whatever you
want," he said. I was very nervous and glanced at the "before surgery"
photos that Dr. Mallen had taken and immediately wanted to be wheeled into
the operating room. An hour and a half later, I was done, feeling great,
sitting up and talking to everyone. I was so happy. Now my concerns were how
long do I keep the bandages on, how long before I could exercise and how
long before I could wear clothes braless! Over the next few days, I was
taking walks and gradually resuming my activities, without doing any
lifting, of course. Five weeks later, my husband and I took a trip and
friends commented on how great I looked. I now feel more self confident than
I have ever felt before.
I want to thank Dr. Mallen and his staff for making me feel like I always
wanted to!

Breast Augmentation Patient Letter 2:
If you are looking for a sensitive, caring, top-notch surgeon, Dr. Mallen
should be on your list. Devoted to restoring and preserving women's beauty,
Dr. Mallen has centered his career on the study and art of plastic surgery
using the most innovative techniques. It is Dr. Mallen's bedside manner,
however, which I believe makes him stand out from any other doctor I have
ever had.
During some of my recent procedures, Dr. Mallen insisted on having a
consultation with me and my husband to determine both my motives for surgery
and my expectations. He wanted to be sure that once I paid for the procedure
and endured the pain, the result he produced would give me the self-esteem I
was looking for. I found that quite extraordinary. Following my surgery, Dr.
Mallen called me several times at home during my recovery period and
insisted on seeing me on both Saturday and Sunday to check my healing
process. He does not do house calls, but he is the most caring doctor you
could ask for.
When you are in search of a doctor, you might look to your friends to
recommend a prominent doctor with a terribly busy schedule. Or you might ask
around for a skillful doctor with a wonderful bedside manner, punctuality
and availability for his patients. I would highly recommend an appointment
to meet Dr. Mallen.

Breast Augmentation Patient Letter 3:
Having a breast augmentation was the
biggest and best gift I have ever given to myself. I always hated to look at
my body in the mirror because I was not happy about the small size of my
breasts. I was able to keep the rest of my body lean and toned. I wore
loose or ruffled shirts to disguise the look of my upper body build and
often hesitated about going out socially.
After giving birth to my 4 boys, my breasts
looked like saggy little pancakes. After years of joking about implants, I
decided to have a consultation. After meeting with Dr. Mallen, I felt very
comfortable about his demeanor and advice. I became ecstatic about having
the procedure. Dr. Mallen made me feel empowered, relaxed and completely
comfortable about having this intimate and potentially embarrassing
procedure done.
The procedure was
uncomplicated and the healing went very smoothly and there are no visible
scars. Boy, do I love the results. My breasts look and feel so natural
that my partner doesn’t realize that I have implants. We both love them. I
love wearing cute little outfits, both cleavage-bearing and traditionally
feminine form-fitting ones. My body is beautifully proportioned. I was
even able to breast feed my fifth child.
I look and feel 20 years
younger than my real age of 46. This was the most positive life-altering
experience that I have ever been through, right alongside giving birth to my
dear children. Only this time, it was just for me.
I urge any woman
considering breast enhancement to discuss the matter with Dr. Mallen; you
won’t find anyone more professional, talented or congenial. He was very
conscientious right up through the follow-up appointments. I, along with the
many other women who have been his patients consider ourselves his #1 fan.

Liposuction Patient Letter 1:
I am the mother of two and an athlete that works out 5-6 times a week. Even
with rigorous workouts, I continued to have disproportionate trouble spots
on my body that I could not change through diet and exercise. After a lot of
thought, I decided to set up a consultation with Dr. Mallen. I was very
nervous about my initial visit, but was quickly put at ease. Dr. Mallen was
direct, thorough, and professional. He made me feel comfortable. I came away
from that consultation knowing that the Dr. had his own criteria for
determining if I was the right person for the procedure and would not do the
procedure if I was not a good candidate or if I would not have a good
result. After having liposuction, I have been very pleased with not only the
results of my surgery, but also with my entire experience from the
consultation through my post-surgical care.

Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) Patient Quote 1:
"Before surgery, I was a nervous wreck. Immediately after surgery, I woke up
and thought, wow, there is no pain. As I recovered, I had hardly any
bruising. Now, I am just really happy. The only regret I have is that I
didn't do it sooner."

Lower Face and Neck Lift Patient Letter 1:
Feeling Better About Myself
Two years ago weighing 200lbs, I decided to watch what I was eating and lost
some of the weight. After 1 ½ years, I lost 50lbs.
As a result of my weight loss, the skin around my face and neck hung. I
looked in the mirror and I saw my mother's reflection staring back at me.
Not that this was a bad thing, I just was not ready for that particular
look.
Upon seeing Dr. Mallen, I told him that I wasn't trying to look 25 again, I
just wanted to look my best for my age.
This past March I had my lower face and neck lifted. The operation went very
well. I was uncomfortable for a week, but not in pain. I returned to work
after 2 weeks wearing a chin strap and a kerchief.
After 2 months, my face was pretty much looking the way I wanted it to. It
has been 5 months now and I am still healing, but I am the only one who can
tell. There is some minor swelling in my cheek area. More swelling goes down
with each week that passes.
I was always under the assumption that you could have this procedure and in
2 weeks to a month, you are brand new. Dr. Mallen explained to me it takes 6
months to 1 year to completely heal.
I love my appearance now. I feel the best I have felt about myself in a long
time. Whether it is plastic surgery or weight loss that a person is seeking,
my advice is to have reasonable expectations and patience. Results can't be
rushed. To look good and feel good starts from within.

Abdominoplasty Patient Letter 1:
After losing 160lbs, I was still not satisfied with what I saw in the
mirror. I had a large amount of excess skin hanging from my stomach. After
many days of research and many referrals from my doctors, nurses and ladies
from my gym, I made an appointment with Dr. Mallen. Right away, I felt at
ease with Dr. Mallen and was completely comfortable with him and the
decisions we made together. I had a tummy tuck and I am extremely pleased
with the results. I look in the mirror and I am finally happy with what is
looking back at me! I am confident in the clothes I wear and for the first
time in my life I wore a 2 piece bathing suit to the beach. I strongly feel
that the results that I have been so fortunate to have are a direct result
from the caring and dedicated surgeon that I was lucky to find and a very
supportive husband and family.

Abdominoplasty Patient Letter 2:
Dear Dr. Mallen and Staff:
I would just like to send a quick thank you for your undivided and
incomparable attention to the questions that I had at hand at my last visit
with you. I was completely taken aback by the amount of time that Dr. Mallen
spent with me personally, especially after this being my third opinion for
plastic surgery in the last 2 months. I felt like I was treated like the
Queen of England and that for the first time in my life dealing with doctors
my best overall health concerns were of most importance. I did get your name
out of the phone book, but I can assure you that my personal opinion of my
treatment at your office has and will continue to be passed on to all the
women of my age who attend my health club daily. I can only hope that my
encouraging words will continue to send new qualifying clients your way. I
was petrified to undergo not only surgery but even the initial consultations
of cosmetic surgery after being a literal "shut-in" for over 10 years of my
life. After my visit with your office, I know that I have made the right
choice and will receive the ultimate in personal, physical and psychological
care throughout my treatments.
Again, thank you for your kindness, sensitivity and reassurance that my
choice for cosmetic surgery is under the best of care available. Feeling
comfortable in my choice for such life altering procedures puts my mind and
heart at ease. I am extremely grateful for this priceless gift.
I look forward to scheduling our next visit and ultimate surgery dates.
Sincerely,

BOTOX Patient Quote 1:
"I would do it again in a minute...and I will. I found myself looking in the

BOTOX Patient Letter 1:
Dear Dr. Mallen and Staff:
The primary reason for my having Dr. Mallen as my cosmetic surgeon and even
bringing family members to him is his adherence to something all too often
lost in today's medical practitioners. He puts his patients' needs and
concerns first. He is always there to consult, explain, or even simply allay
fears.
His ability to explain procedures and put one at ease convinced me to try
the BOTOX injections. The procedure is relatively painless, while the
benefits are well worth any mild discomfort. As a Consultant, it is
imperative that I look and feel my best. My self assuredness and appearance
are fully 50% of the sale of my services. No top level executive is going to
trust his business to someone who looks aged and uncomfortable with
themselves.
At 60 years of age, Dr. Mallen and his BOTOX have helped me to maintain my
ability to compete in a world that seems to grow ever younger while I grow
older.

BOTOX Patient Letter 2:
I first noticed the furrow lines on my forehead when I was in my early
thirties and at that time I hid them under bangs. By the time I had reached
my forties, the lines on my forehead had become very deep and I was feeling
very self-conscious. I would find myself checking throughout the day to make
sure my bangs were just right. I had become obsessed. I heard about BOTOX
treatments, but was reluctant to try it. Finally, I did and I cannot believe
the difference just one treatment made. I truly feel more confident now.

Restylane Patient Letter 1:
For
five years, I have been unhappy with the fine lines around my lips causing
my lipstick to "bleed." After trying Restylane, I could not help but
be thrilled with the results. A second treatment improved the area
even greater. I fell that the slight inconvenience of redness and
swelling for 2-3 days were well worth the silky smoothness that I now
experience.

Sclerotherapy (Spider Vein Treatment) Patient Quote 1:
"I could not wear shorts due to massive spider veins. I decided to attend
one of Dr. Mallen's seminars and all of my questions regarding spider veins
were addressed. During the procedure, I did not experience any pain. I am
more than satisfied with the results. To watch the veins disappear was like
a miracle, especially because I had so many of them."

Facial Peel Patient Letter 1:
Dear Dr. Mallen
My skin loves the BioMedic peel and the line of BioMedic products. The
treatments were quick and easy. Both the treatments and the products have
dramatically reduced my Rosacea. I get compliments on my skin and now I can
wear very little makeup. Your office is very friendly and accommodating.
